Join Kevin McNeal and Adrian Klein for an adventurous journey along the central Oregon coast. Summer time along the coast provides plentiful opportunities to photograph the majestic beauties of the ocean. This is a chance to visit some of the most stunning coastal areas in North America. During the workshop we will photograph landmarks such as, grandeur haystacks, rustic lighthouses, dramatic seascapes, and marine life. Focus will be on creating stunning images that capture the essence of what it means to each photographer. Sunrise and sunset will be the primary shooting time that we will be focusing on with daytime discussing techniques, scouting locations and possible image critique. We will talk about the aspects of photographing the ocean, challenges of low and high tides, capturing motion in the water and creating stories from images of silhouetted haystacks against colorful skies. There will be much to learn and enjoy during this outing, photographing must see places like Cape Kiwanda and Seal Rocks.

We will do a meet and greet Friday evening for those able to get in early, with the tour starting sunrise on Saturday and will end on Sunday after sunset. These are long days this time of your, bring lots of memory cards for plenty of shooting.

Friday to Sunday we will be photographing from sunrise to sunset most days. We will spend most of the time in the field yet we will have some time set aside just for covering processing and workflow. Helping to bring that snap, crackle and pop to your images. Bring your laptops if you have one, and if you don't, you will be more than fine without one.

Lodging and meals are not included yet we will give recommendations of lodging and help you out in any way we can. Additionally, we plan to rent a house in Lincoln City for particpants to lodge at. Ask prior clients and you will see that staying in the same place greatly enchances the overall learning experience. We will eat most if not all meals together as this time is an important part of each workshop. For transportation it will be up to each participant to make their way to the homebase rental house on the coast. We will however car pool when possible to make parking and traveling easier, along with this being friendlier on our environment. We look forward to photographing with you on the Central Oregon Coast in 2010!
